This switch is one of the two switches that mount on the clutch master cylinder. This one allows the bike to be started in gear when the clutch lever is pulled in all of the way. This is a direct replacement for the switch on all Goldwing GL1200, GL1500, GL1800 and F6B from 1984-2017
