Carburetor air shutoff valve Tourmax

High quality slow air cutoff valve kit for 1980 to 1983 GL1100 that replaces OEM 16048-446-901. Includes parts necessary for a complete rebuild of the valve (diaphragm, spring and O-ring) so as to improve starting, warm up, idling and acceleration.

The "air cut valve" slightly throttles the air supply when the throttle is returned to the carburetor. This over-riches the gasoline/air mixture and prevents it from splashing back into the carburetor.
