This kit contains all necessary gaskets, O-rings and seals to install a new pump or reinstall an old pump on all GL1000 and GL1100 but IS NOT intended to be a repair kit for a leaking water pump! Kit does not include the oil pump cover gasket and o-ring that is typically included with a new oil filter.

A leaking water pump indicates that the main mechanical impeller seal has been breached by the action of ethylene glycol (coolant) on the aluminum pump body rendering it irreparable. Honda advises that a water pump cannot be rebuilt.
