The helmet bag is made from 630D PVC Tarpaulin. The design still allows you to secure your helmet using the helmet lock under your trunk. Newer bikes can use the helmet lock on the side of the seat. Once you secure the d-ring through the small slot at the top of the helmet bag, you can use the draw sting to close the bag up. No cable included
